Free crochet pattern

It´s free pattern monday in my house and I will post two crochet patterns, i hope you will have fun with while you crochet it and long after you have finished.

The first one will be Valentino the elephant. It´s a cute pattern in any hook and yarn size you will use.
This one will come as a PDF download (I hope it will work). I wanted to test crochet it with other people before putting it up on my blog, but unfortunately i did`t get any response back from the people i did send the pattern to and so I hope you will forgive me if there are any mistakes in the pattern. If you find one, please be so kind and post an answer to this post so I can correct it in the PDF.

The second will be a video (2. Parts) on how to crochet a triangular to make a bunting, either for a party, a kids room or your own little craft corner...

Part 1:
Crochet Triangle Part 1

Part 2:
Crochet Triangle Part 2

Here are the written instructions for the Triangle:

Chain 4 stitches, join stitches with a slip stitch.

Chain 3 (counts as 1 DC), crochet 2 DC into ring, chain 3, crochet 3 DC into ring, chain 3, crochet 3 DC into ring, chain 2 and join with a slip stitch into the 3rd chain of the first dc.

Chain 3 (counts as 1 DC), crochet 2 DC into the next 2 dc of the previous round, crochet 3 DC into the chain 3 spot of the previous round, now crochet a Trible Crochet (TR), crochet 3 DC, crochet DC into all stitches of the previous round, crochet 3 DC into the chain 3 spot of the previous round, now crochet a Trible Crochet (TR), crochet 3 DC, crochet DC into all stitches of the previous round, crochet 3 DC into the chain 3 spot of the previous round, now crochet a Trible Crochet (TR), crochet 3 DC, slip stitch in the 3rd chain of the first DC.

Chain 2, DC into all DC stitches of the previous round until you reach the TR of the previous round, into this stitch you crochet 2 TR, then you continue to crochet DC into every stitch until the next TR of the previous round. Again you crochet 2 TR into this stitch and then continue with DC to the last TR of the previous round and again you crochet 2 TR into this stitch. Crochet DC and join the beginning of the round with a slip stitch. leave a longer tail and cut yarn. Now sew in the two yarn ends and you´re done.

When you have enough triangular crochet, join them by simple slip stitches. I chained 5 stitches, connected the first Triangular with also 5 slip stitches and then made another 5 stitches until the next Triangular. This will make a nice bunting.

Enjoy your sunday and if you use any of these two patterns, it would be lovely of you to give me, my blog or my instagram account a shoutout with a mention or the hashtag #theboilingteapot

Thank you and lots of love from my crafty corner of the world.
